Eric Tishkoff currently plays principal clarinet with Rainier Symphony in Washington. He has performed on both clarinet and bass clarinet with the Northwest Mahler Festival, Kansas City Symphony, Kansas City Chamber Orchestra, Camerata, and New Ear Ensemble. He has toured internationally with his own group, Klezmer Consort, as well as various classical chamber ensembles. His primary teachers include Ted Johnson, Larry Maxey, Fred Ormand, and Jane Carl. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Clarinet Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory and a Master of Music degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Dr. Tishkoff has taught clarinet and clarinet pedagogy at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and Johnson County Community College. In 1997 he started ET's Clarinet Studio which has grown into a high-ranking source of clarinet information on the world wide web.

In addition to the web site and his musical activities, Eric works as a software engineer for a Seattle-based media company.
